Description
The State of Colorado, Department of Agriculture-State Fair is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the Creative Arts Code, ADA, & HVAC Upgrades, Ph 1 of 2 project. The project consists of building upgrades to the Creative Arts Building at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, including life safety improvements, electrical upgrades, mechanical upgrades, roofing replacement, and ADA improvements. The contractor will be responsible for providing full construction contracting services for the project.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Life Safety Improvements: installation of a fire sprinkler system
• Electrical upgrades: new service, lighting, and power
• Mechanical upgrades: by alternate
• Roofing Replacement: by alternate
• ADA improvements
The project has an estimated cost of $1.5 million and is expected to start on September 8, 2026, and finish on June 1, 2027.
