HAZMAT Waste Disposal

The Wake County Public School System is seeking a contractor to provide HAZMAT Lab Pack/Waste Disposal services at various WCPSS facilities. The contractor will be responsible for identifying, categorizing, sorting, packing, removing, and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials for disposal or recycling. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for an additional two years. The contractor must demonstrate full competency in waste handling and disposal procedures and have all necessary permits, certifications, and licensing. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and supplies, including personal protective equipment, disposal containers, and packing materials. • The contractor must have a thorough knowledge of current waste handling protocols, disposal, and transportation regulations. • The contractor must be able to handle drum overpacks and provide containers and equipment when necessary. • The contractor must be able to perform field testing and analysis as required. • The contractor must have a background in chemical engineering or a related field. • The contractor must be able to respond and perform work in a timely and professional manner.
