Laundry & Linen Service for Los Angeles AFB

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Healthcare Contracting Division-West (HCD-W) is seeking a contractor to provide laundry and linen rental services for the 61st Medical Squadron at Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) in El Segundo, California. The contractor will be responsible for providing clean uniforms, linens, and racks for healthcare workers, as well as picking up soiled items and delivering clean items to the medical squadron. The contract has a base period of performance from 15 September 2026 to 14 September 2027, with four option years. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection. Some key requirements include: • Providing all personnel, equipment, transportation, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform the services • Establishing and maintaining a system of records to control and account for all work performed • Complying with all applicable regulations, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection • Providing a start-up quantity of rented clean uniforms, linens, and racks for healthcare workers • Picking up soiled items and delivering clean items to the medical squadron twice a week • Responding to service calls within four hours • Complying with all applicable regulations related to hazardous materials and waste disposal
