Dale Stone Park Playground Replacement

The City of Toledo is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing playground at Dale Stone Park. The scope includes demolition of the current play structures and associated site elements, installation of new city‑provided playground equipment, construction of footers, installation of an under‑drain system and French drain, placement of engineered wood mulch, topsoil, seeding, and related landscaping, as well as perimeter fencing. The work must be completed within a 90‑day period after award and must comply with prevailing‑wage requirements, a Project Labor Agreement, and extensive documentation (insurance, bonds, child‑support affidavit, etc.). • Demolition of existing equipment, concrete, rubber mats, mulch, and drainage components (~3,155 sf). • Installation of new footers, under‑drain (≈190 lf perforated pipe) and French drain (≈33 lf SDR‑35 pipe), engineered wood mulch (≈130 cu yd), topsoil (≈13 cu yd), and seeding (≈156 sq yd). • Coordination with City Forestry for mulch pickup and with Gametime Recreation for equipment installation; compliance with PLA, prevailing‑wage, insurance, and bonding requirements.
