Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids to establish a blanket purchase order for the procurement of liquid sweetener, saccharin sugar substitute concentrate to be delivered to Snyder, Texas. The term of the blanket purchase order will be from the date of award through August 31, 2026, with no option to renew. The TDCJ requests that bidders quote F.O.B. destination, with all freight, delivery, import, and tariff charges added into the unit cost of the line item(s) and not shown separately.
• The liquid sweetener must meet the requirements of CID A-A-20178C, Type I: Saccharin, Style C: Liquid, Package 5: Bottle.
• The active sweetening ingredient must be Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) grade.
• The finished product must contain 3.8% (+/- 0.3) percent of active ingredient.
• The product must contain adequate preservatives to maintain chemical, physical, and microbiological stability.
• The product must be packaged in a plastic bottle with a dispenser top, with a minimum of 8 oz to 13 oz per bottle, and 12 bottles per case.
