RFI: IDR Power Upgrade

The Space Rapid Capabilities Office (SpRCO) is seeking information from businesses regarding their capabilities in providing electrical services to upgrade the IDR Power for a modular space. The work will be performed at Kirtland AFB, NM. Interested businesses are encouraged to respond with relevant information, including project examples, timeframe to complete the work, estimated quote, and point of contact information. The objectives of this RFI procurement are to upgrade the IDR power system, including installing new PDUs, converting receptacles, tracing and replacing panels, relocating the mini-split power supply, and providing temporary power provision. • The work includes furnishing and installing conduit, wiring, and electrical devices to provide power for three new 30-amp vertical Power Distribution Units (PDUs). • The work requires swapping out eight existing L5-20 receptacles with new L5-30 receptacles and replacing all existing 20-amp conductors with new 30-amp conductors. • The work involves tracing out all circuits connected to Panel H and performing a Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure to ensure safe working conditions. • The work requires removing and replacing the existing 125-amp 18-circuit panel with a new 125-amp 42-circuit panel. • The work includes relocating the power supply for the existing mini-split unit inside the IDR to Panel H, which is fed from the UPS.
