Description
The City of Columbus Public Service Department is seeking qualified prime contractors to perform extensive roadwork on the SR‑161 corridor between I‑71 and Cleveland Avenue. The contract includes constructing four mini‑roundabouts, adding raised medians, installing pedestrian and bicycle facilities, fully replacing traffic signals at two intersections, widening and resurfacing pavement, upgrading storm‑sewer infrastructure, and enhancing roadway lighting. Pre‑qualified contractors with ODOT status are required, and the prime must perform at least 50 % of the contract value, with an 8 % small‑business participation goal. Bids are submitted electronically via BidExpress; hard copies are not accepted.
