The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking to award a sole source task order for ground transportation and guard services in the Arizona and California Corridor (ACC). The services required include armed and unarmed detainee ground transportation, medical and facility guard services, and movement of detainees intercepted and/or processed within the Southwest ACC Border. The incumbent provider, ISS Action Inc., is the only contractor that meets the immediate operational requirements at scale, in the specific geographical locations required, and within the timeframe needed. The contract will require the provision of vehicles outfitted with detention packages, camera systems, and communication systems, as well as trained, armed, and uniformed drivers and guards. The services must be provided 24/7, with established dispatch, scheduling, and management processes tailored to USBP's operational patterns.
Key requirements include:
• Providing ground transportation and guard services with certified, armed transportation officers and vehicles
• Meeting CBP's safety and security standards
• Employing trained, armed, and uniformed drivers and guards
• Establishing 24/7 dispatch, scheduling, and management processes
• Operating under existing sector-specific procedures, security protocols, and emergency response plans
