Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Insurance, is seeking a Financial Examiner/Analyst to perform professional services in the regulatory oversight of insurers in Kentucky. The selected contractor will participate in exams and analysis, conduct financial examinations, and provide recommendations to the Department. The contractor will also be responsible for keeping the Certified Financial Examiner/Analyst, Examiner in Charge, and Reviewer informed of significant issues and material adverse findings.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Conducting complex examinations of NAIC-accredited insurers
• Developing, presenting, and discussing findings
• Making recommendations for corrective actions and internal procedures and policies
• Testifying in administrative hearings or other legal proceedings
• Scheduling, training, reviewing, or supervising analysis and examination procedures
• Reviewing new regulations and laws or other assigned duties necessary to facilitate the Department's regulatory oversight
