Multi-Facility Roofing Project

The City of La Porte is seeking bids for a multi-facility roofing project, which includes the replacement of roofs at three facilities: the Evelyn Kennedy Community Center, the La Porte Recreation & Fitness Center, and the Special Programs Center. The project requires the removal of existing roof systems, repairs to decks, and the installation of new roofing systems, including insulation, vapor barriers, and roofing membranes. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the project. • The project includes three separate roof replacements/overlays, bid together as one complete contract. • The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, disposal, and incidentals necessary to complete the roofing work. • The project requires the removal of existing roof systems, repairs to decks, and the installation of new roofing systems, including insulation, vapor barriers, and roofing membranes. • The contractor will be required to provide a 2-year workmanship warranty and a 20-year manufacturer's roofing system warranty. • The project is expected to be completed within 300 calendar days.
