The City of Salina is soliciting a single sealed‑bid contractor to completely demolish a dangerous residential structure located at 1616 West Crawford Street, including removal of all foundations, utilities, and ancillary structures, and to restore the site to finished grade. The contractor must secure all required bonds, provide insurance, and complete the work within a 90‑day window after the Notice to Proceed. The project includes utility disconnection, debris disposal to a city‑approved landfill, installation of drainage grates, and a two‑year warranty on workmanship.
• Complete demolition of the residence, foundations, footings, cisterns, septic tanks, garages, sheds, sidewalks, driveways, and related appurtenances.
• Disconnect/terminate utilities, cap sewers, and protect adjacent public infrastructure.
• Remove all debris (max 8 loads/day) to an approved landfill, back‑fill, compact to 95 % moisture optimum, and grade the site.
• Provide barricades, signage, lighting, and conduct soil‑compaction testing at contractor’s expense.
