Description
The California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is seeking proposals from potential subcontractors for the University Student Union Renovation and Expansion Phase 2D project. The project involves the complete renovation of the existing 3-story, 128,300 SF Student Union, construction of a 2-story 61,000SF addition, and 255,000 SF of sitework. The new construction is expected to be a Type 1B structure, with an overall budget of approximately $190MM. The project milestone for onsite construction completion is scheduled for May 15, 2028.
• The project requires furnish all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, design, and services necessary to provide a complete and fully operational installation for an interior water feature.
• Mandatory participation for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE) and small business enterprises (SBE) is encouraged.
• Bidders must be prequalified with The PENTA Building Group prior to any contract awards.
• The project is subject to prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements.
• The PENTA Building Group is signatory to the Carpenter’s Union, and all scopes of work that will employ Carpenters on-site must be performed by Union Carpenters.
