Seattle Center Monorail Station Reconfiguration Subcontract Bid Package 03.1A CIP Concrete & Topping Assembly

The Seattle Center Monorail Station Reconfiguration project aims to upgrade the existing station to enhance accessibility, operational efficiency, and extend the structure and services. The general scope of work includes structural concrete, structural steel, guardrails, transit gates, paint and lead abatement, skylights, fire and life safety, mechanical, electrical, site improvements, earthwork, and wet utility upgrades. Key components of the project include: • Repair of corroded steel elements • Platform strengthening • Guardrail replacement • Extension of the canopy structure for increased protection of the landmarked Monorail trains • Coordination of new platform edge gates, new ramps, new stairs, and new seat walls The project requires a bid bond of 5% of the base bid amount for bids exceeding $300,000, and trade partners who are awarded scopes of work exceeding $300,000 must provide Performance and Payment bonds for their full contract amount.
