ITB 6872 Rotary Park Playground Resurfacing Project

The City of Johnson City is seeking bids for the resurfacing of the Rotary Park Playground. The project includes excavating and hauling off existing material, installing composite lumber as a perimeter border, and installing and compacting aggregate to grade. The project also includes the installation of turf, seam tape/glue, trim, and final securing around the perimeter, as well as the installation of a padding system throughout the entire play area. The contractor will be required to complete a site visit prior to submitting a bid and must provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and services to complete the project. The project must be completed ASAP. Key considerations for the bid include the cost of the project, the project timeframe, and the contractor's ability to meet the insurance requirements and bonding requirements. • The project includes approximately 15,500 square feet of playground area • The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price • The contractor must provide a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price • The contractor must have a Tennessee contractor's license • The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including worker's compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability
