Wyoming Fire Academy Natural Gas Training Prop Field Upgrade

The Wyoming Fire Academy seeks bids from qualified contractors to modify and upgrade the existing natural gas training prop field. The project will divide the current natural gas system into two independently functioning sections, one remaining on natural gas and the other converted to operate on propane. This enhancement will include the fabrication and installation of new live fire training props, expansion of fuel infrastructure, and associated site work. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the dual-fuel conversion, prop fabrication, and installation. • The project includes construction of reinforced concrete pads, installation of new gas lines, and full integration of safety systems in accordance with NFPA standards. • The contractor shall provide training for Academy staff on system operations, maintenance, and safety procedures. • The contractor shall provide electronic copies of as-built drawings, manuals, and warranties. • The project is expected to start on April 13, 2026, and be completed by June 15, 2026.
