Southwestern Community College is seeking bids from qualified contractors to furnish and install two high-efficiency boilers at the Bradford Building. The project aims to replace the existing equipment with a redundant system, ensuring reliable and energy-efficient operation. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to deliver a complete and operational system. Key requirements include compliance with specifications, code and safety compliance, operational testing, and start-up and commissioning reports.
• The boilers must be of equal capacity to the existing boiler for the 22,000 sq ft building.
• The new system shall be designed and installed to provide reliable, energy-efficient operation.
• The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on labor and materials.
• The contractor must provide complete O&M manuals and as-built documentation.
• The contractor must provide training on operation, routine maintenance, and safety procedures.
• The contractor must ensure that all work areas are left clean and free of debris daily, and all construction materials are removed upon project completion.
