UNCW Moving Bin Rent/Lease

The University of North Carolina at Wilmington is seeking to lease or rent reusable moving bins to support student move-out and move-in activities during the summer term. The anticipated usage periods are approximately two weeks in early May and two weeks in mid-August. The vendor will be notified of confirmed quantities and delivery requirements with an anticipated minimum of 90 days' notice prior to each usage period. The preferred bin size is approximately 36" x 26" x 27.5" with outer dimensions not to exceed 37.5" x 27.5" x 33.5". The university anticipates a minimum requirement of 200 bins per period, but quantities may increase based on demand. The contractor is responsible for delivery, collection, cleaning, and repair and maintenance of the products. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must deliver and collect the bins at the designated locations. • The contractor is responsible for cleaning the bins. • The contractor must repair and maintain the bins at no cost to the university, except for abuse or neglect. • The university will provide notice to the vendor of any repair or maintenance needed.
