The New York City Department of Social Services (DSS) Community Food Connection (CFC) is seeking a vendor to manage a new CFC Grant Program. This grant program will replace the EFAP Administrative Expense Reimbursement Grant program, providing more timely support through upfront grants. It will also support activities to strengthen, expand, and improve the emergency food network. The program will target program needs and strengthen and improve the New York City emergency food network. • The anticipated total funding for this contract will be approximately $6,000,000 throughout the contract term, or $2,000,000 per year. • The annual program budget is anticipated to be $2,000,000, from which the proposer will be responsible for awarding approximately $1,800,000 to approximately 300 to 350 grantees. • The proposer will receive a total award of $600,000 throughout the contract term, or $200,000 per annum. • The contract term is anticipated to be three years from the Notice to Proceed.
