Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct the annual inspection and limited preventive maintenance of fall‑protection systems at the 117th Air Refueling Wing, Sumpter Smith Air National Guard Base in Birmingham, Alabama. The work includes certified technicians, all necessary tools, parts, and supplies to inspect trolley rail systems, horizontal lifelines, and self‑retracting lifeline assemblies in Buildings 135 and 138, and to provide written inspection reports for each item. The contract is a FY 2026 fixed‑price Quick‑Quote award, with work performed weekdays (Tue‑Fri) starting at 7 a.m., and payment on net‑30 after report acceptance.
• Perform yearly inspections of listed fall‑protection equipment (WEBB‑RITE ISR30 units) in Buildings 135 & 138.
• Provide certified fall‑protection technicians, tools, replacement parts, and supplies.
• Deliver a written inspection report for each system inspected; repairs are excluded unless separately requested.
• Work limited to Tuesday‑Friday, 7 a.m. start; no weekend work.
• Net‑30 payment after successful completion and receipt of reports; quote must be firm through 30 Sep 2026.
