FUEL: UNLEADED AND DIESEL

The Central Valley School District is seeking proposals for fuel for their bus and vehicle fleet. The District estimates it will consume about 30,000 gallons of unleaded fuel and 137,000 gallons of #2 diesel per year. The successful bidder will be required to provide fuel at their location, with adequate space to accommodate at least two 40-foot buses. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. • The fuel must meet or exceed ASTM specifications • The vendor must have a minimum daily capacity of 2,000 gallons for unleaded and 10,000 gallons for diesel • The vendor must provide cards for tracking fuel usage and maintain records • The vendor must have public restrooms available at the fueling area, or provide a portable toilet • The contract will be awarded based on the best overall value to the District, considering factors such as price, driver amenities, site location, references, and compliance with requirements.
