Description
The City of Long Beach is seeking bids for the replacement of large potable water valves at five locations. The work consists of furnishing products, labor, tools, transportation, and services to replace two 20-inch, two 30-inch, and one 36-inch butterfly potable water valves. The project includes excavation safety measures, traffic control and restriping, and excavation for verification of subsurface conditions.
• The project is expected to start on January 1, 2026, and end on December 31, 2026.
• A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and attendance is recommended but not mandatory.
• Bidders must submit their bids by December 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
• The City of Long Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
