Description
The City of Birmingham is seeking qualified suppliers to provide crushed limestone stone, riprap stone, and sand on an as‑needed basis. The contract will be awarded separately for the Eastern and Western portions of the city, with material to be picked up FOB at designated plant sites (or delivered for sand). Quantities are estimates only; the city will order approximately 24,000 tons of crushed stone/sand and 650 tons of riprap annually. The agreement runs for a minimum of one year with the option for two additional one‑year renewals subject to council approval. Bidders must submit sealed paper bids, include a $500 bid bond for contracts over $10,000, and provide required insurance and compliance documentation.
