Description
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County seeks a qualified actuarial firm to provide comprehensive pension valuation, disclosure, and health/OPEB actuarial services for its employee benefit programs. The contractor will be responsible for annual funding valuations, GASB disclosures, experience studies, contribution‑rate recommendations, IBNR calculations, OPEB valuations, and related advisory support, while maintaining secure electronic data processing environments and attending board meetings in person.
• Deliver annual pension and health/OPEB actuarial valuations and associated reports (GASB, contribution rates, COLA, IBNR).
• Provide ongoing advisory services, plan‑amendment evaluations, audit support, and QDRO assistance.
• Maintain secure EDP/EDI systems, disaster‑recovery plans, and comply with HIPAA and AICPA standards.
• Submit all required forms, cost spreadsheet, and insurance certificates; meet strict deadlines including a pre‑offer meeting (Mar 26) and final proposal due (Apr 21).
