INVITATION TO BID – SAND AND GRAVEL PERMIT

The Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands is soliciting sealed bids for a state sand and gravel permit that authorizes extraction of sand and gravel from a 4.9‑mile stretch of the Arkansas River in Jefferson County. The permit term may not exceed three years and terminates six months after commercial production ceases. Bidders must submit a $500 bid fee and propose a royalty of $0.40 per cubic yard of sand and $0.60 per cubic yard of gravel. The award will be made after public opening of bids on July 20, 2026.
