PW 26-001 Motor, Pump, Well Repair and Replacement Services

The City of Avondale is seeking a qualified vendor to provide motor, pump, well repair and replacement services. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to four successive one-year terms. The vendor will be responsible for providing repair services, parts, and new equipment for motor, pump, and well repair and replacement. The city reserves the right to cancel or make changes in the services and/or materials to be furnished by the vendor within a reasonable period of time after issuance of purchase orders. • The vendor must provide a written estimate for all repairs prior to the city authorizing the repair. • The vendor must use manufacturer-recommended replacement parts only unless specifically authorized by the city. • The vendor must provide a weekly update of repair status along with digital photos throughout the repair process. • The vendor must have access to various sizes of vehicles with sufficient lift capacity to pick up and deliver pumps and/or motors weighing up to two tons or up to 500 HP. • The vendor must have a point of contact for the IFB for follow-up questions or notifications. • The vendor must provide technical literature demonstrating that the products in their offer comply with the specifications. • The vendor must upload completed pricing in Excel format and PDF format. • The vendor must provide information for three clients for whom they have provided services of similar size and scope within the past 36 months. • The vendor must upload a copy of their signed W-9 using the most current W-9 form.
