Rehabilitation of Limestone Creek Bridge over Limestone Plaza, County Bridge C-235, BIN 3359070

The Onondaga County Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of the Limestone Creek Bridge over Limestone Plaza, County Bridge C-235, BIN 3359070. The project involves the removal of the existing bridge deck, removal and storage of the existing steel superstructure, installation of sheet piling scour protection, concrete repairs to the substructures, installation of new bearings, reinstallation of the stored steel superstructure, construction of a new cast-in-place concrete bridge deck and approach slabs, and reconstruction of the roadway at the approaches, including new guide rail. The project must be substantially completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. • The project is a unit price bid. • A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) utilization goal of 6% applies to this project. • The EEO Employment goals for this project are 3.8% Minority Employment Goal and 6.9% Women Employment Goal. • All contractors and subcontractors submitting bids or performing construction work on public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law are required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i. • The use of the NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software, Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO), is required.
