Channelized Wing Hybrid Electric VTOL UAS

The USSOCOM is seeking information on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) with channelized wings and hybrid electric powerplants, in combination with Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) capabilities. The UAS should have a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 7 or above and be capable of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions. The Assessment Event will evaluate the technical merit of submitted white papers, and favorably evaluated submissions will be invited to attend the event. The event will include a Q&A portion and discussions may continue outside of the event. • The UAS should have a channel wing concept vehicle with a TRL of 7 or above. • The UAS should have hybrid electric powerplants in combination with VTOL capabilities. • The UAS should be capable of ISTAR missions. • The Assessment Event will evaluate the technical merit of submitted white papers. • Favorably evaluated submissions will be invited to attend the event.
