Description
The Town of Franklin is seeking bids for the construction of the Town of Franklin Water Source Improvements project. The project consists of new water source, including well pump, transmission main, building addition for chemical feed and metering, and an interconnection to the Town’s distribution system. Bidders can obtain the bidding documents from the Issuing Office, Otter Creek Engineering, Inc., upon payment of $100 for each set. A pre-bid conference will be held on April 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. local time.
* The project is funded in part through the Vermont Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF).
* The project requires bid security, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, performance bond, and payment bond.
* The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements.
* The Town of Franklin has obtained a BABA waiver for the entire project.
