Description
The City of Dayton is seeking bids for a 3/4 ton pickup with a liftgate. The vehicle should be a new, current model year, 3/4-ton pickup truck with a regular cab configuration, four-wheel drive, and a long bed. The vehicle should also have a gasoline-powered engine, heavy-duty automatic transmission, and a four-wheel drive system. The bid should include the price of the vehicle, as well as any additional features or options. The City of Dayton reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City.
• The vehicle should have a minimum 9,900 lb GVWR and a 6.8L V8 engine or equivalent.
• The vehicle should have a heavy-duty automatic transmission and a 3.73 axle ratio or equivalent.
• The vehicle should have a factory-installed trailer towing package, including a frame-mounted receiver hitch, integrated trailer brake controller, and 7-pin blade connector.
• The vehicle should have a snow plow prep package, including heavy-duty front suspension and increased cooling capacity.
• The vehicle should have a Pro Power Onboard inverter system, heavy-duty alternator, and minimum 700 CCA battery.
• The vehicle should have an 8-foot pickup box, spray-in bed liner, black tubular running boards, all-terrain LT-rated tires, and four keys with fobs.
• The vehicle should have a one-piece aluminum electric liftgate with a minimum 1,000 lb rated lifting capacity.
• The vehicle should have a heavy-duty ladder rack with cab protector and two top mount bed side tool boxes.
