Library Automated Patron Notification and Renewal Telephone System

The City of Irving Library Department is seeking a solution for handling automated telephone notifications to library patrons and inbound call handling, including an automated item renewal service/information line. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a system that can integrate with the City's Polaris ILS system, currently version 7.8, with an anticipated upgrade to version 8.0 in early May. The system should be able to handle outbound calls, including retries, and inbound calls, with language selection through an IVR menu. The City is open to integration via API and will provide access to a test environment and SIP2 credentials for integration and testing prior to production deployment.
