Description
The City of Salina is seeking an engineering consulting firm to design the replacement of three deteriorated 28‑in × 40‑in corrugated metal culverts on Fairdale Road, including hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, easement acquisition, utility coordination, and construction‑phase support. The consultant must deliver a full set of construction‑ready plans and specifications, assist with legal easements, and support the project through design, permitting, and construction oversight. Key deliverables include alternatives analysis, 25‑year storm modeling, bid packages, and construction observation.
• Perform updated hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and recommend replacement alternatives.
• Produce complete design drawings, specifications, and bid documents for the culvert replacement.
• Facilitate easement acquisition, utility relocations, and provide construction‑phase support through bid letting, award, and observation.
