Description
The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi VA Medical Center, Engineering Service, intends to award a sole-source contract to Phigenics, LLC for Potable Water Analytic System Maintenance Services. The services include continuous monitoring of incoming water pressure, temperature, pH, hardness, and suspended & dissolved solids. The contract is estimated to cost approximately $702,528.00. The services are critical for patient safety and must be executed in compliance with various regulations and guidelines. Some of the key services and requirements include:
• Water Management Program Operations
• Water Monitoring Equipment Maintenance/Preventive Maintenance Services
• SPS (Sterile Processing Service) validation testing
• Web-based generation and management of real-time, continual water monitoring data
• Compliance with regulations such as VHA Directive 1061, ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188, and CDC Toolkit for Controlling Legionella in Common Sources of Exposure.
