Death in Service Insurance Cover

The American Embassy London is seeking a provider for a Death in Service Life Insurance Policy for Locally Employed Staff in the United Kingdom. The policy should cover eligible employees, including those working on a full-time, part-time, or when-actually-employed basis, as well as Official Residence Expense (ORE) employees. The policy should provide a death benefit of 3.5 times the pensionable salary, and coverage will be provided for eligible employees through to age 75. The successful bidder will be required to provide evidence of their ability to perform, including a company brochure and evidence of SAM registration. • The contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. • The term of the contract will be from April 6, 2026 to April 5, 2027. • The US Government will pay 100% of the premium costs for employees paid under the Local Compensation Plan. • ORE employers will pay 100% of the premium costs for their respective ORE employees. • The current annual base payroll is approximately £22,700,000.00. • The number of employees to be insured is 413.
