Description
The State of Tennessee is seeking a single insurer to provide and administer both employer‑paid (basic) and employee‑paid (voluntary) group term life and AD&D coverage for all state‑government and higher‑education employees and their dependents. The contractor must manage enrollment, weekly eligibility file processing, claims adjudication, call‑center operations, member communications, and full integration with the State’s Edison ERP system, while meeting stringent security, privacy, and SLA requirements.
• Administer basic term‑life, basic AD&D, voluntary term‑life and voluntary AD&D for ~70 000 members.
• Provide call‑center (7 am‑4:30 pm CT, ASA ≤ 30 s, abandonment ≤ 5 %).
• Build and maintain a public microsite, a secure member portal, and API interfaces to Edison for eligibility and premium data.
• Deliver quarterly and annual performance scorecards, maintain SOC‑2/HITRUST certifications, and meet liquidated‑damage penalties for missed milestones.
