Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is seeking a qualified, licensed waste‑management contractor to provide permanent and on‑call dumpster rentals together with weekly or bi‑weekly trash‑collection services across multiple port facilities. The contractor must supply a fleet of 2‑, 4‑, 6‑, 8‑, 30‑ and 40‑yard dumpsters, perform collection on the required schedule, respond to service calls within four hours and have personnel equipped with Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badges. All costs—including delivery, removal, fuel surcharges, and environmental fees—must be included in the unit price; landfill fees are billed to JAXPORT at cost. The contract is a fixed‑price, firm‑price agreement for an initial three‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions.
• Provide 20+ permanent dumpsters (various sizes) and “as‑needed” temporary units (8‑, 30‑, 40‑yd roll‑on/roll‑off).
• Perform weekly or bi‑weekly trash‑collection hauls per site schedule; emergency calls must be answered within 4 hours and service rendered within 24 hours.
• All drivers and staff must hold valid TWIC badges and complete maritime security training; trucks must display permanent company logos.
• Contractor must furnish required insurance (workers’ comp, commercial general liability, business auto, pollution liability) and a performance bond for work orders > $100 k.
• No subcontractor markup is permitted; the award will go to the lowest‑priced, responsive, responsible bidder.
