The District is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, install, test, and commission a complete security system for the 6th‑floor burn unit of Parkland Health. The scope includes access‑control hardware (card readers, door contacts, maglocks), video intercom stations, a new power supply and panel board, associated cabling, engineering and shop drawings, permits, and post‑installation testing, as well as repair of any damage caused during installation. The work must comply with hospital infection‑control, badge‑ing, and safety requirements, and the contractor must submit a lump‑sum bid with all required forms (subcontractor list, letter of intent, good‑faith effort, etc.).
• Provide and install access‑control hardware for hall and lobby doors, including card readers, motion detectors, maglocks, and emergency glass‑break releases.
• Upgrade the security panel with a new Altronix power supply and LNL‑1320‑S3 board, and deliver full engineered drawings, permits, and as‑built documentation.
• Perform all work within normal business hours (7 AM‑5 PM Mon‑Fri), adhere to infection‑control risk‑assessment protocols, and complete a final pre‑test before the District programs the system.
