Description
The Town of Gaston is seeking proposals for the rehabilitation of the former EMS building to be used as a community center. The project involves renovations and installations, including new insulated glass panel garage doors, bathroom remodeling, kitchen cabinet installation, and electrical upgrades. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a Rehabilitation Contract with terms mutually agreeable to both parties. The proposal should include a price proposal, knowledge of current building codes and safety codes, and the bidder's ability to construct the facility by December 28, 2026.
• The project scope includes building exterior, HVAC system, building interior, and site work.
• The building exterior work includes converting garage doors into metal doors with windows and installing new fire-rated entry doors.
• The HVAC system work includes providing and installing new split unit heat pump systems with necessary ductwork.
