J--NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) intends to award a sole source contract to AAA Pumping Service, Inc. for the emptying of a 20,000-gallon septic tank at Pueblo Pintado Community School in New Mexico. The work is urgent and needs to be completed within the next 2 weeks to prevent sewage from discharging into the environment. The contractor will be responsible for removing the solid sewage waste from the septic tank. • The contract is for a firm-fixed price. • The work needs to be done within a short timeline. • The contractor must have the necessary equipment and expertise to empty the septic tank. • The service is required to maintain the sanitary health of students and staff at the school.
