Belt Filter Press PLC Programming

The City of Toledo’s Department of Public Works – Water Reclamation is seeking a qualified vendor to program and update the PLC and Wonderware HMI for Belt Filter Presses (BFPs) 1, 3, and 5 located on the 5th floor of the Sludge Dewatering Building at the Bay View Water Reclamation Facility. The work includes evaluation of existing logic, replication of control sequences, integration of new VFDs, installation of three industrial workstations, monitors, keyboards, and software licenses, as well as camera system upgrades and full testing/commissioning. The contract is for a twelve‑month period and incorporates prevailing‑wage, BABA, and living‑wage compliance requirements. • Perform PLC logic audit, develop new programs for BFP 1, 3, 5, and integrate VFD control. • Supply and install three Dell workstations, three NEMA‑4 industrial monitors, keyboards, and three Wonderware/AVEVA InTouch runtime licenses. • Upgrade camera system to support at least seven simultaneous video feeds and provide VMS software. • Deliver comprehensive documentation, testing, and a one‑year warranty on all goods and services.
