Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is seeking to negotiate a sole source purchase order for 2 Shukla Nail Universal Bone Cement Removal System Instrument Sets. The instrument tray contains all necessary items to facilitate removal of bone cement for orthopedic implants. The scope of work includes providing and delivering the instrument sets, which will be used 2 times per month for revision cases. The objective is to support total joint revision cases where bone cement needs to be removed from an implant or patient bone. The contract is expected to be a firm fixed price contract, and the period of performance is through the life of the instruments.
• The contractor shall provide and deliver 2 S9CEMENT, CEMENT REMOVAL SYSTEMs.
• The instrument tray contains all options of instruments that can be used to remove cement.
• The usage is anticipated to be 2 times per month for revision cases.
• The contractor must supply 2 more trays to ensure continued care without interruption to patient safety and care.
• The place of performance is the Surgical Orthopedic Service.
• The period of performance is through the life of the instruments.
