Description
The City of Pensacola is seeking bids for a 5-year contract to provide landscape and irrigation system maintenance services for the Pensacola International Airport, Summit Boulevard area. The contract includes mowing, sweeping, edging, trimming, pruning, and other landscape maintenance tasks. The bidder must have experience in performing similar or comparable work and must provide a statement of facts in detail as to their previous experience, business and technical organization, and financial resources.
• The contract term is 5 years, with the option to renew for up to 3 additional 1-year terms.
• The bidder must provide all necessary materials, equipment, machinery, tools, apparatus, and means of transportation.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
• The bidder must provide a certified check, cashier's check, or insurance company's executed bond payable to the City of Pensacola in the amount of 5% of the annual cost of the first year.
• The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award bids on a split-order basis by item or service number, to waive any minor bid irregularities, technicalities, or informalities, and to re-advertise for bids when deemed in the best interest of the City of Pensacola.
