Disposal Services for Nitrous Oxide Cylinders

The City of Vancouver is seeking a qualified hazardous‑waste contractor to provide periodic collection, transport, disposal, and related consulting for nitrous‑oxide (N₂O) cylinders that are not covered by any Extended Producer Responsibility program. Work will be performed at the Vancouver South Transfer Station and Vancouver Landfill, with possible pickups in Vancouver or Delta. The contractor must hold a BC licence to transport compressed gases, possess TDG‑trained staff, maintain active WorkSafeBC registration, and submit extensive safety plans, manifests, and semi‑annual reports.
