Maintenance Dredging, Delaware River, Philadelphia to Trenton

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed contract for Maintenance Dredging, Delaware River, Philadelphia to Trenton. The base contract work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sediment within the Delaware River, Philadelphia to Trenton main navigation channel. The work includes mechanical dredging with placement of the dredged material into the Biles Island Disposal Area in Falls Township, PA. There will be an Option for dredging approximately 70,000 cubic yards of material from the Fairless Turning Basin with dredged material placement at the Money Island Disposal Area, in Falls Township, PA.
