Description
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking a qualified contractor to deliver a modern, secure service that fulfills the requirements of the Fingerprint Applicant Services of Texas (FAST) program. The FAST program provides fingerprinting services for applicants and authorized entities, aiming to provide efficient, high-quality fingerprint acquisition services statewide through a professional, secure process. The contractor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service proposed, including cloud hosting, technical support, and secure web portals. The contract term is 5 years, with an option for extension.
• The contractor must provide statutorily authorized services with convenience, accessibility of locations, timeliness, accuracy, and secure submission of fingerprints.
• The contractor must comply with the terms of the contract and perform as directed by DPS, ensuring adherence to all applicable state and federal laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
• The contractor must provide fingerprint services to multiple locations articulated in the contract.
• The contractor must accommodate any DPS-directed changes within the scope of FAST services or locations.
• The contractor must provide a cloud-hosted solution that meets FedRAMP Level High or TX-RAMP Level II certification standards.
• The contractor must provide ready access to the data in compliance with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS) Security Policy, DPS Information Technology (IT) Standards and Requirements, DPS Cyber Security Contract Requirements, and industry best practices.
