Description
The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is soliciting a qualified contractor to remove an existing non‑insulated 20’ × 20’ rolling steel door and install a new 20’ × 20’ Cookson EDS20 insulated rolling steel door on the same business day at the GTRI Smyrna campus (CCRF Building 12). The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment (forklift, scissor/boom lift), electrical integration, testing, commissioning, and disposal of the old door, while complying with safety and security requirements. The work must be completed within normal business hours on a single day, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Remove and dispose of existing 20’ × 20’ rolling steel door.
• Supply and install new Cookson EDS20 insulated door with motor, light‑curtain safety system, and control pad.
• Reuse existing 480 V, 3 HP power supply and verify electrical compatibility.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and provide warranty documentation.
• All work must be completed the same day (one‑day outage window).
• Contractor must be escorted on‑site and coordinate with GTRI point of contact.
