Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to provide annual preventative‑maintenance services for the university’s data‑center power distribution infrastructure, specifically the Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and Rack Power Panels (RPPs). Work must be performed on a dual‑fed (A‑Side/B‑Side) configuration, allowing maintenance on one side while the opposite side continues to power loads. The contractor must meet a maximum six‑hour response time for any downtime event and an eight‑hour overall service‑call response. The contract covers a two‑year base period with optional extensions and renewals.
• Perform pre‑maintenance checks, load transfer verification, de‑energization, inspection, cleaning, torque checks, breaker exercises, and re‑energization for each PDU and RPP.
• Provide 24‑hour telephone technical support and on‑site response within six hours of a reported failure.
• Supply parts at a 20 % discount off catalog pricing, with a markup cap of 25 % on undisclosed OEM costs.
• Must hold required insurance, pass background checks, and (if not already certified) complete a HECVAT‑Lite questionnaire after award.
