VITEK 2 Compact

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract to BioMerieux Inc. for the VITEK 2 Compact 60 instrument. The contractor will provide equipment, reagents, consumables, controls, and services for automated mass spectrometry rapid microbiology identification, automated antimicrobial susceptibility, and automated biochemical microbial identification. The contract will support Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, Fort Polk, LA, and the period of performance will be from 01 Oct 2026 to 30 Sep 2027, with four option years. • The contract includes the supply and servicing of the VITEK 2 Compact 60 instrument. • The contractor must provide FDA-approved assays with a minimum shelf life of six months. • The contract includes automated mass spectrometry rapid microbiology identification testing, automated antimicrobial susceptibility testing, automated biochemical identification testing, and blood culture monitoring.
