Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a contractor to upgrade the fire alarm system at the Kinross Correctional Facility. The project includes the complete replacement of fire alarm systems for 10 buildings, including all new addressable fire alarm systems, devices, and wiring. The contractor will also provide connections to existing Star Net II security systems for alarm communication. The project requires demolition of existing fire alarms, including removal of existing panels, devices, conduit, and cable, which shall be completed after new systems are online for 30 days. The contractor must figure its Base Bid on the specified materials and equipment only, and no "or equal" or substitution proposals will be permitted after bid opening.
