Description
The State of Maryland is seeking a contractor to replace the sewage ejector pump at the West Friendship Truck Weigh and Inspection Station. The contractor must have five years of experience in commercial plumbing business, maintain a current State of Maryland Master Plumbers Technician License, and have available a minimum workforce of two State of Maryland licensed commercial Plumber’s Journeyman Technicians with a minimum of five years of commercial plumbing experience each. The contract duration is 30 days, and the primary place of performance is the West Friendship Truck Weigh and Inspection Station.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Replacement of the existing sewage ejector pump with a new Tsurumi 50B2.75 Submersible duplex wastewater pump system
• Installation of a new AMES Duplex Control Panel with weighted float switches
• Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including the 2024 Edition of the SHA Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials
• Provision of a 1-year Contractor Workmanship warranty against failure of the work
