Description
The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a contractor to provide pest control services for the Northeast Correctional Center. The contract period will be from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The contractor will be required to provide pest control services for the facility and its perimeter, including food preparation areas, offender living quarters, and recreational areas. The contractor must have a Missouri Department of Agriculture Pesticide Program company or a certified pesticide technician. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the required services.
• The contractor must provide bi-monthly services, treating areas such as the Central Services building, food preparation areas, and offender living quarters.
• The contractor must provide quarterly services, treating areas such as the Administration building and recreational areas.
• The contractor must provide treatment to areas of the facility as needed to control pests, including rodents, insects, and other pests.
• The contractor must report to the Department's designated representative regarding safety precautions and provide written recommendations for dealing with pest problems.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Missouri Pesticide Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
